The futures bright - the futures Wrexham?

Ahead of the main blog coming later on today, here are some taster pictures of the new Wrexham store.

Counters not on the perimeter of the store - market square?

Much better visibility into the back areas. Cojoined fish / meat counter.

The Cake shop in all but the name.

Co joined counters in the first 1/3 of the store - No 'street'

Kiddicare products featured in store for the first time.

No Yellow in sight - 'fresh market' now a point of difference

A wider view as you enter the store.

  1. If I didn't recognise the fonts I'd have thought that was an ASDA store.

Big and faceless. Like a warehouse.

  2. Morrisons in Wrexham is the best supermaket in Europe. Its beat anything that ASDA or Tesco have ever done

  4. It looks fantastic. The exterior looks really good too, (search you tube 'Morrisons Wrexham).

Get them rolled out, pronto! The old tired ex safeway shops just undo all the excellent lab work.
